Welcome to Laissez-Faire Beauty

Precision Short Hair. Relaxed With Intention.

Owner and sylist with pixie cut

I'm honored you've chosen me to care for your hair. Every appointment here is built so healthy hair, precision styling, and thoughtful care come together in one polished, effortless result — and from this point on, my job is to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident at every step.

This page walks you through everything you need before your visit: how to prepare, what to expect in the chair, and how we'll work together toward what you want for your hair.

I can't wait to welcome you into the studio.

 Preparing For Your Visit

Arrive with clean hair. Please shampoo within the week before your visit. Clean hair lets me make a clear, accurate assessment of your hair's condition and structure, so every decision we make during your service is a precise one.

Bring inspiration photos. If you have pictures of the look you want, bring them. Visual references guide the consultation and make sure we agree on shape, length, and finish before anything changes.

Bring photos of your at-home products. Shampoo, conditioner, styling products, all of it. Knowing your routine tells me what's supporting your hair and what needs adjusting, so your maintenance plan keeps your results consistent between visits.

PHOTOS & YOUR DIGITAL HAIR JOURNAL

Please wear a neutral-colored top and your preferred lip color, it keeps the finished style the focal point in photos.

At the end of your visit, we'll take a few images of your completed look to start your personal digital hair journal: a consistent visual record that lets us track progress, protect your hair's integrity, and make intentional adjustments as it evolves.

Some photos may also be selected for portfolio and marketing purposes to showcase the finished work. Your comfort always comes first, and images are only ever used in a way that reflects the standard of Laissez-Faire Beauty.

Studio Location

4600 Park Road, Charlotte, NC — inside Sola Salon Studios, Studio #106. The building sits on the corner of Abby Place and Park Road, with visitor parking directly in front of the entrance.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, please wait outside the studio — that time is for sanitizing and preparing the space so your service starts clean and intentional. The main doors open at 8:00 AM; for earlier appointments, use the intercom and I'll let you in as soon as the space is ready.

Finding The Studio

Once inside, head toward the back hallway, the building is a circle, so keep going until you reach me. Studio #106 sits in a small nook toward the rear, and I'll be expecting you.

If you come in through the door next to the large 4600 sign instead, no worries: there's a brown door on your right as you enter, push through, and I'm the second suite on your right.

PAYMENT

Laissez-Faire Beauty accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is collected at the end of your appointment, so your time in the chair stays seamless and uninterrupted.

Your In- Studio Experience

Inside salon

Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation: what you want for your hair, where your hair is today, and the best way to get from one to the other. We'll also map out your maintenance schedule and home-care routine, the plan that keeps your hair healthy, balanced, and polished between visits.

Once your service is complete, we'll capture a few photos for your hair journal and schedule your next appointment to maintain the shape and integrity of your style.
